Governance

Kula Culture CIO is governed by its board of trustees. The trustees are responsible for the charity's direction, legal compliance, financial stewardship and public benefit.

Independence

Kula Culture CIO is an independent charity. It is not controlled by any private company and does not exist to promote or subsidise the interests of any commercial organisation.

Connected organisations and conflicts of interest

Some individuals involved with Kula Culture CIO may also have roles in other organisations, including Bespoke Engaging Education Services Ltd (BEESUK Ltd). These organisations are legally separate from Kula Culture CIO and do not control the charity.

Any actual or potential conflict of interest is declared and managed in accordance with the charity's procedures. Where a conflict arises, the affected trustee does not take part in the relevant discussion or decision-making.

Any arrangement involving a connected organisation must be in the charity's best interests, properly documented, and subject to trustee oversight.
